My husband and I have very dear friends that have a very large dog.
Every time we go to their house, the dog hears us coming as we’re
driving up the driveway and announces our arrival by barking its fool
head off.
But last Saturday night when we pulled up to the house, there was
complete silence. My husband and exchanged glances as we were walking
up to the door, hoping that the dogs hadn’t died since we had last been
there.

If you own a cat, you have to put up with having a litter box in your
home. If you have a large home, you probably have somewhere out of the
way to keep it, and it may not bother you very much.
However, if you have a small place like I do, a cat litter box can be something that drives you nuts. I love my cats, but I do not love having to deal with the litter box.

We love our pets, don't we? I mean when it comes to our cats, labs,
terriers, and pet pigs, we go all out. Some of us even go so far as
acquiring pet health insurance. Now, this is hardcore.
I can't say that I've ever done this myself, but I won't knock the

is really the only effective way to control your dog's barking –
especially if you have a particularly happy and irritating dog, such as

should be known as cruel and unusual punishment for a dog.

Pets are a wonderful part of our lives. We consider them part of our
family. It truly is our duty to take care of them like we would a
child, or at least in a similar respect. While they can be an endless
source of entertainment, pets can also be a big chore.
If you have an indoor cat, then you
know what I mean. The litter box can get overwhelming at times. No
one wants their house smelling like a cat box. Luckily for cat owners,
there is now the option of a self cleaning litter box. These sweet innovations should have come out long ago.

It's three in the morning and that damn mutt down he street won't stop
barking. It's amazing that the owners themselves would tolerate this
behavior, but they do. We love our dogs here in America. They are part
of the family. But I can promise you there's one thing that I don't
love about them... their barking. We need a humane way to stop barking dogs.
A barking dog can be quite a nuisance, disturbing and startling
pedestrians and children. Keeping neighbors awake at night is also a
big no-no. The barking can be irritating, even for the dog's loving
owner.

Ever since I can remember, my folks have been taking walks. They love
to do this for simple exercise. Not to mention that they're outdoor
nuts. Anyway, with nature walks come safety issues. Yeah, I know what
you're thinking.
Am I actually serious? Do people
really need to worry about their safety while waking outdoors? Well of
course they do. This is 2006. Not 1806. Get the picture. The truth is
there may always be potential danger. Like it or not, it's the world we

I am considering giving in to my son’s wish of getting a fish as a pet.
I’m giving serious thought to getting him a tank, the fish, and the
fish tank supplies for Christmas. It would be nice to have everything
ready to go when he wakes up on that day. However, I realize that I
have to learn a few things about taking care of fish as pets because I
don’t know a lot about what goes into a fish tank.
