Utilizing a No Bark Dog Collar
My husband and I have very dear friends that have a very large dog. Every time we go to their house, the dog hears us coming as we’re driving up the driveway and announces our arrival by barking its fool head off.

But last Saturday night when we pulled up to the house, there was complete silence. My husband and exchanged glances as we were walking up to the door, hoping that the dogs hadn’t died since we had last been there.

Getting a Handle on the Cat Litter Box
If you own a cat, you have to put up with having a litter box in your home. If you have a large home, you probably have somewhere out of the way to keep it, and it may not bother you very much.

However, if you have a small place like I do, a cat litter box can be something that drives you nuts. I love my cats, but I do not love having to deal with the litter box.

Read This If You Are Considering Pet Health Insurance
We love our pets, don't we? I mean when it comes to our cats, labs, terriers, and pet pigs, we go all out. Some of us even go so far as acquiring pet health insurance. Now, this is hardcore.

I can't say that I've ever done this myself, but I won't knock the folks who do. For all I know, this could seriously save you some bucks in the long run.

Silencing Fido with Bark Control Collars
Using bark control collars is really the only effective way to control your dog's barking – especially if you have a particularly happy and irritating dog, such as a Beagle. This is really a shame. Bark controlling dog collars are what should be known as cruel and unusual punishment for a dog.

They basically work by the most brutal of behaviorist tactics. Your bark controlling collar provides some kind of means – either a shock, a spray of citronella, a shrill sound, or what have you – to irritate or terrorize your dog every time he or she barks.

The Best Places to Find Animals for Adoption
Do you like animals? In general I would say that this is a stupid question. However, there are a few individuals out there who really don't care for animals. Regardless, if you do love and appreciate animals, then you probably have a pet or two. This is the norm for most households. Whether it be a dog, cat or just a goldfish, we all typically tend to enjoy a nice companion.

The Benefits of a Self Cleaning Litter Box
Pets are a wonderful part of our lives.  We consider them part of our family.  It truly is our duty to take care of them like we would a child, or at least in a similar respect.  While they can be an endless source of entertainment, pets can also be a big chore.

If you have an indoor cat, then you know what I mean.  The litter box can get overwhelming at times.  No one wants their house smelling like a cat box.  Luckily for cat owners, there is now the option of a self cleaning litter box.  These sweet innovations should have come out long ago.

Barking Collars can Help Stop Barking Dogs
It's three in the morning and that damn mutt down he street won't stop barking. It's amazing that the owners themselves would tolerate this behavior, but they do. We love our dogs here in America. They are part of the family. But I can promise you there's one thing that I don't love about them... their barking. We need a humane way to stop barking dogs.

A barking dog can be quite a nuisance, disturbing and startling  pedestrians and children. Keeping neighbors awake at night is also a big no-no. The barking can be irritating, even for the dog's loving owner.

Keep the Mutts Away with Dog Pepper Spray
Ever since I can remember, my folks have been taking walks. They love to do this for simple exercise. Not to mention that they're outdoor nuts. Anyway, with nature walks come safety issues. Yeah, I know what you're thinking.

Am I actually serious? Do people really need to worry about their safety while waking outdoors? Well of course they do. This is 2006. Not 1806. Get the picture. The truth is there may always be potential danger. Like it or not, it's the world we all share. Now, back to my parents.

Getting a Great Deal on Fish Tank Supplies
I am considering giving in to my son’s wish of getting a fish as a pet. I’m giving serious thought to getting him a tank, the fish, and the fish tank supplies for Christmas. It would be nice to have everything ready to go when he wakes up on that day. However, I realize that I have to learn a few things about taking care of fish as pets because I don’t know a lot about what goes into a fish tank.

Pet Health Insurance Can Add Up To Big Savings

People would usually not associate pets with healthcare coverage. However, many families consider pet health insurance as a valuable asset that they could use. We have several pets that share our home and we know that the veterinary costs can pile up quickly when multiple pets are being cared for in a single household.

Our pet doctor is really wonderful. She loves to see our animals and she even gives our family the occasional discount since we have so many pets. However, our bills are getting out of hand, even with the occasional breaks that we receive from our vet. Fortunately, we were able to answer our dilemma by turning with the help of pet health insurance.

Finding the Best Dog Training Books
A few days ago, we decided to surprise our son with a new puppy for his twelfth birthday. Our son had been asking for a pet several years ago, but we didn't feel that he could handle the responsibility of taking care of a pet back then. I told my son that he would be completely responsible for the dog's care.

It would be his responsibility to take his puppy for walks, play with it, feed it, and train it. My wife purchased a couple of dog training books to help our son carry out his responsibility.

Pet Food Storage - Keeping it Simple
We have two hunting dogs at home and they stay outside our house in a large kennel area. Our dogs’ kennel is attached to a small storage shed in the yard. The shed protects our pets from the elements and it’s also is a convenient spot for storing dog food. We had been storing the dog food in the shed for about two months when I noticed that there are a few pieces of food scattered in the shed.

How to Properly Use Dog Cages
My cousin has three cute and adorable dogs. However, she leaves her dogs in cages while she is at work from early in the morning up to late in the afternoon. I feel upset every time I think of her poor dogs being kept in dog cages for most of the day. I do not think that is being a responsible dog owner. I mean, those poor animals are in their cages for almost 12 hours every day! Not to mention that they spend time in the dog cages when she is out shopping for groceries or running errands.

Choosing The Right Cat Litter Box
Cats are primarily clean animals, but the cat litter box they use is usually a different story altogether. Pet owners have a wide variety of cat litter boxes to choose from. Scoop litters are a big help for those who want to keep a clean household.

If owners can remember to scoop a few times every day, they wouldn’t have to worry about odors in their homes. Some people may find scoop litters impractical though, and a brand that prevents unpleasant odors can help people who can’t scoop their box as often as they want.

My Unexpected Love Affair with Large Mouth Bass
My husband and I live in Minnesota, on one of the walleye fishing lakes in the state. We came here just about 5 years ago and now we don't want to live anywhere else. My husband and I have always found wall eye fishing exciting and joyful.

I got quite surprised when one day my husband suddenly started talking about fishing large mouth bass. We’ve read many articles about fishing large mouth bass but we personally had never done that so far. We had plenty of walleye in the freezer and we could always catch more but my husband insisted on catching large mouth bass.

Enjoy Nature with Soothing Animal Sounds
The most chilling sound in my opinion is the sound of animals fighting. I remember hearing it one night in the early hours of the day. There were two cats fighting to the death. When I first heard that noise I thought I was going to die. During the summer, especially when it is very hot, you can hear even worse animal sounds coming from cats. It is really stressful to hear them. I am convinced that those who hear this dreadful wailing will always remember it.

Try An Animated Mouse Cursor
Mouse cursors are useful and functional as they help you get an idea about where you are supposed to type. They usually look so unobtrusive, that we hardly notice them. The important thing is that they work great for us, and show where typing should take place.

I hardly even noticed my mouse cursor until the day that I had to use another computer. It was my colleague’s and it had a strange animated mouse cursor in the form of an angel. I really looked bewildered and couldn’t start to type at all, as I couldn’t manage to point to tha specific place that I wanted.

The case made me think really hard about mouse cursors, and all those sweet “aesthetic” innovations that people use to put on their computers with the single intention to personalize them and mess up everyone who is using them.

Not only is it the most effective mouse trap but it also is very simple. It consists of a piece of wood with a heavy spring device which slams down the mouse if it tries to get the food put in it.

The Best Dog Training Books
Why is it that my neighbor can't seem to figure out that when he locked his untrained payout and goes off to work all day that the dog does nothing to bark, bark and bark. What an idiot, a neighbor I mean, not that the dog.  I don't plan a little puppy, how is he supposed to know better? He barks out of loneliness, out of frustration, out of anxiety, and out of fear.

Occasionally he barks to protect his territory, pitiful as it is with its leftover poop, a water bowl turned over, and a single ratty chew toy the dog outgrew the first week it was brought to the house.  I wonder if this moron has ever heard of dog-training books?  I know I'm about ready to clue him in.
